My dear friends, you have come together in this church so that the Lord may seal and strengthen your love in the presence of the Church’s minister and this community. Christ abundantly blesses this love. He has already consecrated you in baptism and now he enriches and strengthens you by a special sacrament so that you may assume the duties of marriage in mutual and lasting fidelity.
— from the Rite of Marriage
Engaged couples need to make an appointment to meet with the Pastor at least six months before the wedding date.
In order to be married in the Church, some documentation is needed including a recent dated Baptism Certificate issued from the Church of Baptism, as well as Certificates of First Holy Communion and Confirmation (copies are acceptable). These need to be turned in at least a month prior to the scheduled wedding.
Additionally, a FOCCUS Inventory needs to be completed, followed by Marriage Preparation by the Priest and Married Couple (Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Maciborski) using God’s Filled-Joy Marriage Preparation Program. Details on both will be supplied by the Pastor at the time of your meeting. If you want to go browse the wedding packet, click here.
